Parking Structure Demo

Back in May the hospital I work for began tearing down a parking structure to make way for a new hospital building. Complicating the process was the emergency generator and telephone switch building that adjoined the parking structure. Over the next few days and weeks I'll post some pictures of the process.

Above: Taken from the southwest corner of the structure. The support cribbing can be seen inside the structure.
Above: This is the northwest corner. Besides the stairway there was also an elevator. The helicopter pad has already been removed.
Below: The southeast corner, still intact. The structure in the background is the former employee parking structure that is now available for both visitors and employees.
