I took a trip to San Diego earlier this month to visit my son. Here are a few photos from the trip.

Kestrel

I have been trying for three years to get a good shot of an American Kestrel. They are a fairly common member of the falcon family, but they won't let you approach very close. Finally this one landed on a sign a few yards away and just sat there for awhile.
